This race is absolutely just for fun so we never keep time. Actually, the more time it takes to finish, the better! 10,000 runners flock to this legendary event to run along California’s most beautiful coastline and to soak in the unique sights and sounds of the 40 bands that line the course. The tunes are great and they fade in and out as you run along this outdoor museum of alternative music. We ran with a crowd of friends that came from as far away as Newport Beach to stay with Pat in Santa Cruz and run this party of a race. Helen, Traci, Todd, Trudi and the rest enjoyed the great weather and Pat’s great cooking!
